BMM's Annual Picnic  -    Sunday, July18th @ 11am-5pm                      Last Updated 07/15/2010 - 12:30pm

BMM is proud to announce their second annual Picnic at Patapsco Valley State Park (Pickall section) in Woodlawn, MD on Sunday, July18th from 11am onwards. The weather should sunny, warm and quite pleasant by then, allowing plenty of outdoor activities at the fields. This park is filled with scenery, recreation and fun for kids and adults alike. Audience will enjoy walking/hiking the trails, play cricket/soccer/volleyball at one of the fields. We are also planning authentic childhood games of kabaddi, rassi-khech, chamcha-limbu, dodgeball, etc. You can also relax and appreciate nature's scenic beauty at the park. We are arranging this as a potluck event with melodious music featuring all-time favorite and famous songs from Bollywood, Marathi, folk and other songs. We will start on-time promptly. We encourage all members to give us timely RSVP's so that we can plan for ample menu variety and advise timely updates (if any).

Directions to Pickall Area:
    Note: Pickall Area is NOT directly accessible from Rt 40. Please do not try to find/access it directly from Rt.40.
    From I-695:
   - Take I-695 to Security Blvd. (Exit 17) westbound. Go 0.5miles and turn LEFT on North Rolling Rd. Take next right (Fairbrook Rd.) Go 1 mile , turn left on Johnnycake Rd. Go 1.5 miles to Park Entrance on the left. 
    From Rt-40: 
   - Take Rt. 40 East to North Rolling Rd. toward Security Square Mall. Go 2.5 miles, turn left onto Fairbrook Rd. Go 1 mile , turn left on Johnnycake Rd. Go 1.5 miles to Park Entrance on the left.
    From Rt-29:
   - Take Rt 29 North to Rt 99. Turn Right on Rogers Avenue. Continue on Rogers Ave for about a mile or so and make a left at "Turn-Around" and it becomes "Old Frederick Rd". Continue on "Old Frederick Rd" for about approx 3-3.5miles through curvy/zig-zag turns, till you see "Johnnycake Rd" on your Right Hand Side. Turn Right on "Johnnycake Rd" and park entrance can be spotted quickly on your "Right" side.
